HearthStack Tasks

Keep household work visible and shared.

Give the household a place to see what needs doing, who is handling it, and what still needs attention. Less keeping it all in one person’s head.

01 / Capture it

Get it out of someone’s head and into the household.

Add a task with a name and put it on a Task list. Add a description when the job needs more context; give it a due date when timing matters. A task can be small without getting lost in a text thread.

Open work, its timing, and responsibility in one view.

02 / Make it clear

Make responsibility clear.

Assign a task to a person who can access its list, or leave it unassigned until you decide who should handle it. Set a due date, with an optional time, so the people involved can see what is due today or overdue.

Open For you to see your assigned work, or All open tasks to see what is still on the lists you can access.

Know what needs doing without asking around.

03 / Keep it together

A list for the work you share.

Group tasks into named lists, like chores or things to fix around the house. Choose Household for work signed-in adults should see, Selected people for a smaller group, or Private for just you. Each person sees the lists they can access, not every task in the household.

Shared when it should be. Private when it needs to be.

04 / See what moved

Everyone involved can see what moved forward.

Mark a task complete when it is done. Open work stays easy to find, while completed tasks remain available on the list to look back on, including who marked them done. A household can see the next thing to handle without starting the same check-in again.

Open work in view.
Finished work not forgotten.

A little less mental load

Household work shouldn’t depend on one person keeping the list.

When the work is written down, the people who can see it have a shared place to check what is open, what is theirs, and what is already done. That is coordination for everyday home life, not another project to manage.
