HearthStack Shopping

Plan together. Shop with context.

Build a list with your household, then take it into the store. Keep what you need, what is already in the cart, estimated spend, and household questions close while you shop.

01 / Before the trip

Build the list as the household thinks of things.

Keep shared lists for the things you need. A list can have a store, and Shopping shows how many items remain. Add names, quantities, notes, and estimated prices when you have them; open the list to make changes before you go.

When it is time to shop, choose a store and the lists to bring along. The list does not stop being useful when you walk in.

The Shopping landing view: a list, its store, remaining items, and estimates before the trip.

02 / In the store

Turn the list into an in-store workflow.

HearthRun puts the active trip in one place. See what is still Needed and what is In cart, with an Estimated total for priced cart items. The Checkout action is there when you are ready to finish.

Ask with HearthSignal, Add item, and Scan are within reach during the trip. You can keep shopping even when the list changes in the aisle.

A real HearthRun trip. This frame is scrolled past the store name to show both item sections and the trip controls.

03 / Keep your place

Know what is left without mentally filtering the list.

Items start in Needed. When you find one, use its add-to-cart control to move it into In cart. Put it back in Needed if you change your mind. Each section has a job: one shows what to find; the other shows what you have picked up.

Still needed.
Already in the cart.
One trip, two clear views.

04 / Spending context

See the trip take shape before checkout.

Put an estimated price on a list item when you know it. In HearthRun, the running Estimated total adds up priced items in the cart, not everything still on the list. Unpriced cart items are called out separately; missing prices are not guessed.

At Checkout, enter the receipt total and review the difference and Money bucket allocation before Finish shopping. With Money available, finishing records an expense and leaves a completed trip in Shopping history. The estimate is context for your trip, not the final amount at the register.

What the number means

Priced items in your cart. Not a live store price or a receipt.

05 / A household question

Ask the household when a choice comes up.

With HearthSignal available, HearthRun has a Signals section and an Ask with HearthSignal action. Ask about a find while the trip is in progress, or ask from an item. Open linked Signals to see the household's responses and decision; no answer is chosen for you.

“Should we get this?” can stay connected to the trip.

06 / Room for the unexpected

The trip can change while you are standing in the aisle.

Use Add item in HearthRun to add something directly to the cart. Scan opens the item form's barcode scanner for supported UPC and EAN barcodes; you can also enter a barcode manually. A camera and a recognizable barcode are needed for camera scanning, and product details are not guaranteed.

A trip can make room for what you did not plan.

From the list to the last aisle

Plan with the household. Shop with the plan.

Shared lists help everyone remember what is needed. HearthRun helps the person in the store act on it, keep an eye on estimated spend, and ask when a decision needs the household.
